In the 14th minute, FC Oulun AC's Leo Heinikallio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kustaa Lahikainen. Kustaa Lahikainen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Petri Valkealahti managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Oulun AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Petri Valkealahti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kustaa Lahikainen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kustaa Lahikainen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Heinikallio, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd play minute Jaakko Väisänen came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Kustaa Lahikainen. 3-0. With a little luck, ST. MICHEL's Kustaa Lahikainen got control of the ball when Jaakko Väisänen tried to sneak it across the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Aaro Gustafsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ST. MICHEL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Oulun AC the free kick. In the 31st match minute, ST. MICHEL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaro Gustafsson to maneuver through the defense. Kustaa Lahikainen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Heinikallio in the 35th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leo Heinikallio got free with Kustaa Lahikainen in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 46 minutes into the game, Jaakko Väisänen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kustaa Lahikainen. Jaakko Väisänen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orvo Nikkinen to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aarne Puhakainen in the 53rd minute of play forced FC Oulun AC's goalkeeper Asmo Noronen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ST. MICHEL's Kustaa Lahikainen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Heinikallio in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, ST. MICHEL's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Heinikallio came free, but Kustaa Lahikainen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manne Uotila lost his temper 57 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 58 played minutes ST. MICHEL got a freekick which was hit by Manne Uotila. Kustaa Lahikainen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Heinikallio, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 67 minutes into the match, ST. MICHEL's Kustaa Lahikainen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorma Korpisalo in the 82nd minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, ST. MICHEL's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Heinikallio came free, but Kustaa Lahikainen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, FC Oulun AC's Zdeněk Ptáček nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kustaa Lahikainen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Petri Valkealahti struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Kustaa Lahikainen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Oulun AC. Jorma Korpisalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
