Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Atso Welling started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. A sloppy throw-in by Tatu Sairanen in the 3rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Riffe United's Aukusti Kouhi. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Atso Welling took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Heino Lumio to make any attempt to save it. Daavid Hiukka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anssi Sanevuori in the 7th minute of play. In the 10th minute Kimmo Välimäki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heino Lumio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kimmo Välimäki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Heino Lumio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kimmo Välimäki in the 22nd minute of the match. Atso Welling recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Riffe United's Atso Welling got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Kimmo Välimäki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Atso Welling got free with Heino Lumio in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Porkanranta's Heino Lumio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atso Welling in the 34th minute of play. Tuukka Lahtela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Daavid Hiukka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atso Welling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Riffe United's attentive Mika Niemelä managed to snatch the ball when Kari Kaski made a throw-in in the 44th minute of the game. Mika Niemelä fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heino Lumio having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anssi Sanevuori was the one to do the kick off. Henrikki Ojala kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Porkanranta's Heino Lumio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atso Welling in the 59th minute of play. Mika Niemelä fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heino Lumio having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Riffe United fully deserved thier win.
