In the 21st minute of the match, Kimmo Välimäki tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Salomo Siltanen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Kimmo Välimäki took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Salomo Siltanen to make any attempt to save it. In the 33rd minute, Atso Welling got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 37th minute, Atso Welling made a precise shot to the right of Salomo Siltanen. Mormons FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The audience was convinced that Atso Welling's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Salomo Siltanen was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. After 52 played minutes Mormons FC got a freekick which was hit by Aappo Ylänen. A collision led to Mormons FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Risto Tuominen hit a great ball. Salomo Siltanen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atso Welling, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 70th minute, Risto Tuominen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the match, Mormons FC's goal looked a bit too open when Atso Welling came free, but Salomo Siltanen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mika Niemelä sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Riffe United's Atso Welling in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atso Welling in the 88th minute of play forced Mormons FC's goalkeeper Salomo Siltanen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mika Niemelä recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Salomo Siltanen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atso Welling in the 91st minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Mormons FC's Aleksi Heliskoski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daavid Hiukka narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kimmo Välimäki was shown his second yellow card after 93 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Riffe United getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Kimmo Välimäki hit a great ball. When the referee ended the match the Riffe United players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
