In the 4th minute of the match Aappo Järventie shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tuomo Kultanen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tuomo Kultanen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aappo Ylänen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tuomo Kultanen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Keijo Torkkeli in the 14th minute. In the 19th minute of the match, Aukusti Mäkiaho tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tuomo Kultanen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Kaleva Vihko struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Salomo Siltanen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Niinivesi. Benjamin Kauppila took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Salomo Siltanen. Salomo Siltanen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After having played for 29 minutes, Benjamin Kauppila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Niinivesi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin Kauppila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Kaleva Vihko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes in the game, Aukusti Mäkiaho fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tuomo Kultanen having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Niinivesi's goalkeeper Tuomo Kultanen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Keijo Torkkeli. Mormons FC's Salomo Siltanen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Kauppila in the 38th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aatto Pelttari in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Salomo Siltanen saved Mormons FC from getting behind. 44 minutes into the game, Benjamin Kauppila cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Salomo Siltanen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benjamin Kauppila to make the kick off. Aappo Järventie kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 54th minute, Aappo Ylänen made a precise shot to the right of Tuomo Kultanen. Niinivesi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 64th minute of the game, Herman Tammisto landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. In the 65th minute, Aukusti Mäkiaho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eino Viinanen kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. A collision led to Niinivesi getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Aatto Pelttari hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Mormons FC's Aukusti Mäkiaho got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 95th minute, Aukusti Mäkiaho made a precise shot to the right of Tuomo Kultanen. Niinivesi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Niinivesi players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
