After 8 minutes of play, Fesbra FC's Marko Ikola made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Heino Lumio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marko Ikola blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Heino Lumio having to make a save. In the 15th match minute, Porkanranta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaj Lydman to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Fesbra FC's Aatami Ahola tried to score from far away in the 15th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Marko Ikola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the match, Heikki Siponen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Heino Lumio. Porkanranta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Heikki Siponen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 26 minutes into the game, Timo Viinikainen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Porkanranta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fesbra FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Porkanranta's Timo Viinikainen got a free kick in the 26th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Porkanranta's zone, Heikki Siponen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Heino Lumio came out of the goal and Heikki Siponen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marko Ikola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Heikki Siponen in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Heino Lumio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Anssi Sanevuori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Heikki Siponen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heino Lumio having to interfere. The supporters of Porkanranta booed when Fesbra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pietari Rauvola didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anssi Sanevuori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mika Palander having to interfere. The supporters of Porkanranta booed when Fesbra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petri Sorsamäki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anssi Sanevuori sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Fesbra FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Anssi Sanevuori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Porkanranta getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Henrikki Ojala hit a great ball. Heino Lumio was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Osmo Kivi. Heino Lumio made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Marko Ikola sent off a good shot on target. Heino Lumio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heikki Siponen in the 60th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Fesbra FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tuukka Lahtela came free, but Mika Palander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marko Ikola could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Heino Lumio made a huge save. After having played for 65 minutes, Heikki Siponen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fesbra FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Heikki Siponen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Heino Lumio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heikki Siponen in the 68th minute of the match. Heikki Siponen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Porkanranta's zone, Marko Ikola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Heino Lumio came out of the goal and Marko Ikola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Heikki Siponen took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Heino Lumio to make any attempt to save it. Tuukka Lahtela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Mika Palander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mika Palander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anssi Sanevuori, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Mika Palander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tuukka Lahtela in the 92nd minute of the match. The Fesbra FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
