Aukusti Mäkiaho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pauli Markkula hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Joni Viitanen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Salomo Siltanen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Aappo Kuivalainen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Mormons FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joni Viitanen came free, but Salomo Siltanen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the game, fc yliutos's Joni Viitanen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Salomo Siltanen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Pauli Markkula hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joni Viitanen in the 22nd minute of play forced Mormons FC's goalkeeper Salomo Siltanen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, fc yliutos's Elmer Lindfors got a free kick in the 24th minute. Keijo Torkkeli struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Visa Pihkala didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mormons FC. Aukusti Mäkiaho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Visa Pihkala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Visa Pihkala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Keijo Torkkeli, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. If Elmer Lindfors had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aappo Kuivalainen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the match, Mormons FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joni Viitanen came free, but Salomo Siltanen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aukusti Mäkiaho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Visa Pihkala having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aukusti Mäkiaho was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Aukusti Mäkiaho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mormons FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aukusti Mäkiaho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Visa Pihkala breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mormons FC's Salomo Siltanen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aappo Kuivalainen in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aappo Kuivalainen in the 56th minute of play forced Mormons FC's goalkeeper Salomo Siltanen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salomo Siltanen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aappo Kuivalainen in the 57th minute of the match. fc yliutos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pellervo Lahtinen in the 59th minute. It was a well-played corner which Aapo Nitti managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Visa Pihkala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aukusti Mäkiaho, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute, Pauli Markkula hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, fc yliutos's Visa Pihkala got control of the ball when Keijo Torkkeli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Keijo Torkkeli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Visa Pihkala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Keijo Torkkeli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Visa Pihkala had great luck who in the 90thth minute grab hold of the ball when Aukusti Mäkiaho from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
