The referee ignored hovsala bk's protests and gave Petteri Määttä a yellow card for diving instead. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by hovsala bk's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kari Kaski was slow to take the kick. During this time Porkanranta's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Hannes Hahl managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 22nd match minute, hovsala bk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by August Könönen to maneuver through the defense. Juhani Hirvonen came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Porkanranta's Tuukka Lahtela. But to his dismay, Tuukka Lahtela quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 26 minutes into the match, hovsala bk's goalkeeper Juhani Hirvonen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tuukka Lahtela. hovsala bk's Juhani Hirvonen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save hovsala bk from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, hovsala bk's Heikki Loikala got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 48th minute, Tuukka Lahtela left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Porkanranta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1.

Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Porkanranta's Anssi Sanevuori sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juhani Hirvonen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rikhard Koivuporras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Porkanranta's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
