The supporters of Niinivesi booed when Nättäri Sports was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrik Wallen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pietari Wesslin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Kauppila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 5 played minutes Nättäri Sports got a freekick which was hit by Vilho Rintala. Benjamin Kauppila's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pietari Wesslin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. When Kaleva Vihko came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Niinivesi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kaleva Vihko couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Benjamin Kauppila managed to get in a good position for a shot. Niinivesi's supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamin Kauppila was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pietari Wesslin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pietari Wesslin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Kauppila in the 18th minute of the match. With a little luck, Niinivesi's Tuomo Kultanen got control of the ball when Miska Seppo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vilho Rintala kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After 26 played minutes Nättäri Sports got a freekick which was hit by Kuisma Saastamoinen. In the 27th minute, Benjamin Kauppila left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Niinivesi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 32nd minute Benjamin Kauppila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pietari Wesslin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pietari Wesslin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kaleva Vihko's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute, Miska Seppo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Tuomo Kultanen, passed just outside the right post. After 37 minutes, Eerikki Pihlman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Niinivesi and the Nättäri Sports players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eerikki Pihlman kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Kuisma Saastamoinen succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 45th playminute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benjamin Kauppila made a kick off. Kuisma Saastamoinen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eino Viinanen kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Niinivesi defense, Kuisma Saastamoinen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tuomo Kultanen. The Niinivesi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tuomo Kultanen should have stopped the shot. In the 87th minute, Kuisma Saastamoinen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nättäri Sports fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Aatto Pelttari hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Vilho Rintala might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tuomo Kultanen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vilho Rintala ran back to his position shaking his head. After 95 played minutes Nättäri Sports got a freekick which was hit by Eelis Snellman. Kaleva Vihko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
