Aatto Metsäranta came out of the goal and Aukusti Mäkiaho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 6th minute, Aukusti Mäkiaho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aatto Metsäranta was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Löyttilä IFK's Aatto Metsäranta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleksi Heliskoski in the 12th minute of play. Aleksi Heliskoski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Aatto Metsäranta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aukusti Mäkiaho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Rauno Koivunen helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Löyttilä IFK getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Rauno Koivunen hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, Aukusti Mäkiaho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aatto Metsäranta. Löyttilä IFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aukusti Mäkiaho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Mormons FC's Aukusti Mäkiaho got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Aukusti Mäkiaho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the match, Löyttilä IFK's goalkeeper Aatto Metsäranta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aukusti Mäkiaho. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tahvo Valkealahti made a kick off. After 61 played minutes, Mormons FC's Taavetti Pursiainen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aatto Metsäranta came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mormons FC reached it. Tahvo Valkealahti struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Salomo Siltanen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Löyttilä IFK. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Aukusti Mäkiaho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mormons FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aukusti Mäkiaho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aatto Metsäranta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 76 minutes, Tahvo Valkealahti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Löyttilä IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tahvo Valkealahti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aukusti Mäkiaho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aatto Metsäranta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Aukusti Mäkiaho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
