An unexpectedly hard shot by Atso Welling in the 3rd minute of play forced Fesbra FC's goalkeeper Mika Palander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 4 minutes into the game, Marko Ikola was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fesbra FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Riffe United the free kick. After a rather tough play, Fesbra FC's Marko Ikola got a free kick in the 4th minute. Aaro Saastamoinen kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Atso Welling in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mika Palander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 11 minutes into the match, Riffe United's goalkeeper Daavid Hiukka had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marko Ikola. Daavid Hiukka made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Marko Ikola sent off a good shot on target. Riffe United's Kimmo Välimäki managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Juha-Pekka Siltavirta in the 17 minute of the game. 18 minutes into the game, one of Fesbra FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Fesbra FC's Mika Palander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atso Welling in the 22nd minute of play. Marko Ikola could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Daavid Hiukka made a huge save. In the 26th minute of the game Sakari Lampi made a throw-in which Heikki Siponen played forward. Kauko Virta struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Mika Palander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Riffe United. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Atso Welling in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mika Palander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Riffe United's Daavid Hiukka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Riffe United from getting a goal against them. Heikki Siponen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daavid Hiukka having to interfere. After 39 played minutes Fesbra FC got a freekick which was hit by Pietari Rauvola. 41 minutes into the match, Riffe United's goal looked a bit too open when Heikki Siponen came free, but Daavid Hiukka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Mika Niemelä hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Heikki Siponen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 44thth minute, Daavid Hiukka skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Daavid Hiukka stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Heikki Siponen's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. After the first half Riffe United were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Heikki Siponen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Marko Ikola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daavid Hiukka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Atso Welling in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mika Palander saved Fesbra FC from getting behind. Fesbra FC's Mika Palander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atso Welling in the 62nd minute of play. Riffe United's Atso Welling got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 72nd minute Heikki Siponen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daavid Hiukka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daavid Hiukka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heikki Siponen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daavid Hiukka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heikki Siponen in the 74th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Heikki Siponen in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daavid Hiukka prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daavid Hiukka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heikki Siponen in the 76th minute of the match. When Mika Niemelä fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Riffe United's protests and gave Mika Niemelä a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Riffe United getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Mika Niemelä hit a great ball. In the 85th minute Marko Ikola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daavid Hiukka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daavid Hiukka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heikki Siponen, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Sakari Lampi hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. If Atso Welling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daavid Hiukka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marko Ikola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Fesbra FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Riffe United's performance. The match ended with a win for Riffe United.
