Löyttilä IFK's Aatto Metsäranta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marko Ikola in the 3rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Heikki Siponen in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aatto Metsäranta saved Löyttilä IFK from getting behind. In the 7th match minute, Löyttilä IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ohto Jaakola to maneuver through the defense. Heikki Siponen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aatto Metsäranta having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Aatami Ahola sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Löyttilä IFK's Aatto Metsäranta didn't even have to move. In the 19th minute Heikki Siponen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aatto Metsäranta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Löyttilä IFK's Tahvo Valkealahti got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Fesbra FC's Marko Ikola sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aatto Metsäranta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aatto Metsäranta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heikki Siponen, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 28thth minute of the game Marko Ikola who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Löyttilä IFK's Aatto Metsäranta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Heikki Siponen came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Fesbra FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Heikki Siponen couldn't finish the play. After having played for 37 minutes, Heikki Siponen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fesbra FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Heikki Siponen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Fesbra FC's Marko Ikola in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Heikki Siponen to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Löyttilä IFK's Tahvo Valkealahti got a free kick in the 50th minute. Heikki Siponen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 56 minutes, Tahvo Valkealahti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Löyttilä IFK and the Fesbra FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tahvo Valkealahti kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Fesbra FC's Marko Ikola was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 59th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Petri Sorsamäki's late challenge caught a Löyttilä IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Petri Sorsamäki helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd match minute, Fesbra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petri Sorsamäki to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marko Ikola got free with Aatto Metsäranta in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aaro Saastamoinen during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Löyttilä IFK booed when Fesbra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaro Saastamoinen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd match minute, Fesbra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marko Ikola to maneuver through the defense. After 76 minutes of play Fesbra FC's Aaro Saastamoinen was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 77th minute, Aaro Saastamoinen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mika Palander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ohto Jaakola in the 78th minute of the match. Marko Ikola came free with the goalkeeper in the 85th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Aatto Metsäranta could save by the left post. If Marko Ikola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Pietari Rauvola came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Fesbra FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pietari Rauvola couldn't finish the play.
