Kosti Wallen's late challenge caught a Valkeakosken Haka's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kosti Wallen helped the player get up and apologised. Jesse Ripatti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Valto Räsänen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juha Loikala was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 23 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the game, one of Valkeakosken Haka:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Einari Willman went to the wrong direction when Aatos Saastamoinen was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 35 minutes into the game, Vilho Saarela was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Valkeakosken Haka's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Königsberg Knights the free kick. Vilho Saarela hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 43rd match minute, Valkeakosken Haka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vilho Saarela to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paavo Vuori stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 75 minutes of play, Königsberg Knights's Paavo Vuori made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Einari Willman was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Paavo Vuori in the 79th minute of play forced Valkeakosken Haka's goalkeeper Einari Willman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valkeakosken Haka's Einari Willman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paavo Vuori in the 92nd minute of play. In the 95th minute Marko Huttunen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Einari Willman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded.
