In the 4th minute, Pentti Hernesniemi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 5 played minutes Valkeakosken Haka got a freekick which was hit by Saku Jokinen. Jesse Ripatti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Arto Raninen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Valkeakosken Haka's goalkeeper Einari Willman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pentti Hernesniemi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Einari Willman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arto Raninen made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Jesse Ripatti sent off a good shot on target. Karri Mäki's late challenge caught a Valkeakosken Haka's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karri Mäki helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th minute, Karri Mäki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jesse Ripatti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ismo Ristolainen charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ismo Ristolainen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 35 played minutes Valkeakosken Haka got a freekick which was hit by Ismo Ristolainen. When Herman Brunila, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 42 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Einari Willman was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pentti Hernesniemi made a kick off. After 63 minutes of play, Valkeakosken Haka's Jesse Ripatti made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arto Raninen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Saku Jokinen's late challenge caught a Fc BlueBeam's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saku Jokinen helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Valkeakosken Haka getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Saku Jokinen hit a great ball. Valkeakosken Haka's Ismo Ristolainen got his second yellow card of the match in the 70th minute. The referee ordered Ismo Ristolainen off the ground. After 71 played minutes Valkeakosken Haka got a freekick which was hit by Ismo Ristolainen. In the 72nd minute, Vilhelm Saastamoinen fired a really elegant long shot, but Einari Willman threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. If Pentti Hernesniemi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 90 minutes, Jesse Ripatti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valkeakosken Haka and the Fc BlueBeam players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Fc BlueBeam booed when Valkeakosken Haka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesse Ripatti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Einari Willman made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Herman Brunila sent off a good shot on target. Valkeakosken Haka were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
