Spectators: 6765 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1765, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 4 minutes, Jimi Kilponen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pallo-Kuomat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jimi Kilponen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jimi Ristilä came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Pallo-Kuomat's Sampo Vapamaa. But to his dismay, Sampo Vapamaa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Daavid Hedberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimi Ristilä having to interfere. Jimi Kilponen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Jimi Ristilä tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorma Oksa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aarne Kaven in the 21st minute of play. Jorma Oksa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aarne Kaven, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After a rather tough play, Pallo-Kuomat's Tarmo Lepistö got a free kick in the 23rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aleksanteri Suutarinen during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aimo Ikola in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jorma Oksa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the last second Jorma Oksa throw himself and got hold of the ball when Aarne Kaven in the 34thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. With his leg Jorma Oksa managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Heimari FC's Aimo Ikola fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Aimo Ikola might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jorma Oksa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aimo Ikola ran back to his position shaking his head. If Aimo Ikola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Heimari FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pallo-Kuomat were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jimi Kilponen to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimi Kilponen in the 65th minute of play forced Heimari FC's goalkeeper Jimi Ristilä to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aimo Ikola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Daavid Hedberg came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Pallo-Kuomat fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daavid Hedberg couldn't finish the play. Jimi Ristilä made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimi Kilponen in the 77th minute of play. After some careless play in the Pallo-Kuomat defense, Aimo Ikola kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jorma Oksa. The Pallo-Kuomat fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jorma Oksa should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimi Kilponen in the 86th minute of play forced Heimari FC's goalkeeper Jimi Ristilä to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
