Hemmo Lampi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Pauli Pettinen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pauli Pettinen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juho Saastamoinen in the 14th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juho Saastamoinen during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Paksal FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pauli Pettinen should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juho Saastamoinen in the 31st minute of play forced Paksal FC's goalkeeper Pauli Pettinen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 34 played minutes Turun RaittiusKerho got a freekick which was hit by Sulo Kaitainen. The audience was convinced that Jaakko Lamminen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leo Myllyniemi was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. After having played for 37 minutes, Jaakko Lamminen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paksal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaakko Lamminen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leo Myllyniemi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jaakko Lamminen's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. If Hemmo Lampi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juho Saastamoinen made a kick off. Pauli Pettinen came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Turun RaittiusKerho's Hemmo Lampi. But to his dismay, Hemmo Lampi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Pauli Pettinen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hemmo Lampi in the 59th minute. Hemmo Lampi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pauli Pettinen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hemmo Lampi in the 70th minute. Turun RaittiusKerho's Juho Saastamoinen got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jorma Laitinen helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Turun RaittiusKerho booed when Paksal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorma Laitinen didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Turkka Järvenpää came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Turun RaittiusKerho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Turkka Järvenpää couldn't finish the play. Vilppu Oinas hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Turkka Järvenpää didn't quite understand what happened when in the 91 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. With a little luck, Paksal FC's Pauli Pettinen got control of the ball when Hemmo Lampi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paksal FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Juho Saastamoinen 98 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Turun RaittiusKerho had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
