FC Hupiukot's Erno Kangasmäki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Turo Ylönen in the 23rd minute of play. In the 27th minute, Kustavi Ikola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 29 played minutes, Ville FC's Arvi Saravo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Erno Kangasmäki came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ville FC reached it. In the 32nd match minute, FC Hupiukot was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kimi Porokara to maneuver through the defense. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paavo Nutikka to make the kick off. FC Hupiukot's Petteri Tuovinen managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alfred Karjalainen in the 69 minute of the game. Turo Ylönen took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erno Kangasmäki. Erno Kangasmäki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Paavo Nutikka struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Eelis Nummelin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Hupiukot. 82 minutes into the match, Ville FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jussi Palander came free, but Eelis Nummelin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ville FC's Jarno Tukio got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erno Kangasmäki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Turo Ylönen in the 92nd minute of the match. FC Hupiukot's Erno Kangasmäki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sami Hana in the 93rd minute of play. Ville FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
