Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Saku Salermo to make the kick off. Turo Ylönen kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ville FC's zone, Ahmet Kadri Ergintuğ stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. If Aykut Ayberk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jarno Tukio came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Ville FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jarno Tukio couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Inkeranta ! getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Juha Kallijärvi hit a great ball. Ville FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Turo Ylönen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
