The Paksal FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pauli Pettinen should have stopped the shot. Pauli Pettinen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saku Salermo's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Saku Salermo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ville FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Saku Salermo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pauli Pettinen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jarno Tukio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
