The referee ignored FC Hupiukot's protests and gave Heikki Grahn a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Prustvik booed when FC Hupiukot was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heikki Grahn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iiro Grönvall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iiro Grönvall got free with Erno Kangasmäki in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Risto Sorsamäki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jussi Palander, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Jussi Palander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Risto Sorsamäki made a huge save. After 60 played minutes Jussi Palander rounded Prustvik's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. 65 minutes into the game, Kaarle Jämsä recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Risto Sorsamäki. Kaarle Jämsä showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. After 68 minutes, Kimi Porokara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Hupiukot and the Prustvik players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th match minute, FC Hupiukot was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kimi Porokara to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the match, FC Hupiukot's goal looked a bit too open when Ale Hietaharju came free, but Erno Kangasmäki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kaarle Jämsä received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Risto Sorsamäki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Risto Sorsamäki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Paavo Nutikka came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the FC Hupiukot fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paavo Nutikka couldn't finish the play. In the 87th minute, Jussi Palander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 88th minute, Veli Mattila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paavo Nutikka struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Risto Sorsamäki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Hupiukot.
