Spectators: 7852 (Terracing: 5890, Seating: 1806, VIP seats: 156) Iivari Elovaara started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Jarno Tukio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 5 minutes, Kaapo Immonen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mankala and the Ville FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ville FC booed when Mankala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaapo Immonen didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ville FC's Saku Salermo in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mankala's goalie prevented a goal. Saku Salermo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Nikolai Hentunen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Jarno Tukio notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Mankala's Nikolai Hentunen. Nikolai Hentunen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 17th minute Iivari Elovaara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eelis Nummelin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th match minute, Mankala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Risto Penttilä to maneuver through the defense. Nikolai Hentunen came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Ville FC's Saku Salermo. But to his dismay, Saku Salermo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Saku Salermo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 26 played minutes Mankala got a freekick which was hit by Risto Penttilä. Mankala's Nikolai Hentunen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarno Tukio in the 28th minute of play. When Risto Penttilä fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mankala's protests and gave Risto Penttilä a yellow card for diving instead. After 29 played minutes Mankala got a freekick which was hit by Risto Penttilä. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarno Tukio in the 30th minute of play forced Mankala's goalkeeper Nikolai Hentunen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Risto Penttilä hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Ville FC's Yrjö Mansikkamäki tried to score from far away in the 36th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Sami Hana kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 41st minute Mankala were awarded a corner. Hannu Laulaja went to the cornerflag to take it. Eelis Nummelin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Onni Hevonkorpi in the 44th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Saku Salermo was the one to do the kick off. Saku Salermo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Nikolai Hentunen made a huge save. Jarno Tukio scored 0-3 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nikolai Hentunen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nikolai Hentunen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saku Salermo in the 60th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Ville FC's Jarno Tukio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nikolai Hentunen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jarno Tukio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 67 played minutes Mankala got a freekick which was hit by Kai Eronen. Eelis Nummelin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iivari Elovaara, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 77 minutes into the game, Saku Salermo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nikolai Hentunen. Saku Salermo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Mankala's Nikolai Hentunen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saku Salermo in the 81st minute of play. In the 85th match minute, Mankala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hannu Laulaja to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Yrjö Mansikkamäki from long distance, 86 minutes into the match, got Nikolai Hentunen's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Saku Salermo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 94 minutes into the game, Mankala's Iivari Elovaara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eelis Nummelin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Ville FC played a much better game than Mankala and deserved their victory. The Mankala players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
