Spectators: 7683 (Terracing: 5804, Seating: 1779, VIP seats: 100) Veli Pietiläinen kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Tommi Pakarinen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juha-Pekka Kanninen in the 10th minute of play. Kuisma Kangasmäki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Tommi Pakarinen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kuisma Kangasmäki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Kuisma Kangasmäki came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Haapakylä fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kuisma Kangasmäki couldn't finish the play. Haapakylä's Tahvo Ruhanen got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Haapakylä's Tero Hassinen shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 23rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Tommi Pakarinen but with some difficulty. With his leg Tommi Pakarinen managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Haapakylä's Kuisma Kangasmäki fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 33rd minute, Spikis's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kuisma Kangasmäki fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 36th minute Daniel Venäläinen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tapani Harjula saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tahvo Ruhanen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommi Pakarinen having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Daniel Venäläinen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spikis's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Venäläinen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tapani Harjula breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tahvo Ruhanen made a kick off. If Tahvo Ruhanen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the match, Spikis's goal looked a bit too open when Kuisma Kangasmäki came free, but Tommi Pakarinen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 72 played minutes, Haapakylä's Tero Hassinen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tommi Pakarinen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Haapakylä reached it. When Allan Viinikainen fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Spikis's protests and gave Allan Viinikainen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd minute, Allan Viinikainen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommi Pakarinen came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Haapakylä's Kuisma Kangasmäki. But to his dismay, Kuisma Kangasmäki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. A collision led to Spikis getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Samuel Sinisalo hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Tahvo Ruhanen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Haapakylä's supporters rose to their feet, but Tahvo Ruhanen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommi Pakarinen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by Spikis's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Raino Karjalainen was slow to take the kick. During this time Haapakylä's players had a chance to rest. Haapakylä's Raino Karjalainen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tommi Pakarinen in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 89th minute Kuisma Kangasmäki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommi Pakarinen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 93 minutes of play, Haapakylä's Tahvo Ruhanen made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommi Pakarinen was left in no man's land by his defense there! There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Haapakylä fully deserved thier win.
