Spectators: 7722 (Terracing: 5792, Seating: 1776, VIP seats: 154) Altona FC's Ismo Rimpilä started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Ismo Rimpilä came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Altona FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ismo Rimpilä couldn't finish the play. Heino Helenius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesse Höök having to interfere. A collision led to Saukoski FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Rainer Andersson hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Kalle Laine managed to get in a good position for a shot. Altona FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kalle Laine was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Onni Lehto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 13 minutes into the game, Joonas Mattila was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saukoski FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Altona FC the free kick. In the 13th match minute, Saukoski FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joonas Mattila to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antti Jousmäki during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 23 played minutes Saukoski FC got a freekick which was hit by Antti Jousmäki. Onni Lehto was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Marko Kesä. Onni Lehto made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Pasi Virkkunen sent off a good shot on target. Onni Lehto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismo Rimpilä, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jesse Höök showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rainer Andersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Otso Kultti charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Otso Kultti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 41 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Saukoski FC! The goalkeeper, Onni Lehto, was totally fooled by Altona FC's Marko Kesä, who 43 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

54 minutes into the match, Saukoski FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pasi Virkkunen came free, but Onni Lehto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Onni Lehto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ismo Rimpilä's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. After 57 played minutes, Altona FC's Marko Kesä shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Onni Lehto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Altona FC reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Pasi Virkkunen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Altona FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pasi Virkkunen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Onni Lehto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 63 minutes into the match, Saukoski FC's Heino Helenius sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jesse Höök narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 64th minute, Kaarle Eskelinen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Rainer Andersson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saukoski FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rainer Andersson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jesse Höök breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Rainer Andersson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jesse Höök. That made the score 1-1 in the 74 minute of play. Heino Helenius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 78 played minutes Altona FC got a freekick which was hit by Kalle Laine. After 81 played minutes Altona FC got a freekick which was hit by Kaarle Eskelinen. 82 minutes into the match, Saukoski FC's Heino Helenius sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jesse Höök narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 85th minute, Joonas Mattila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ismo Rimpilä had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rainer Andersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
