Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Aleksi Etula got the match started through his kick off. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fc Baljars reached it. Osmo Vainio struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Samuel Blomberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc Baljars. Samuel Blomberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sami Rinne, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Ristonmäki IFK's Samuel Blomberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osmo Vainio in the 16th minute of play. Aleksi Etula received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Pirkka Määttänen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd match minute, Fc Baljars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikko Rimpiläinen to maneuver through the defense. When Aleksi Etula came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Ristonmäki IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aleksi Etula couldn't finish the play. Jani Kärkkäinen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pirkka Määttänen having to interfere. Ristonmäki IFK's Samuel Blomberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eevert Luhtio in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute Osmo Vainio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Blomberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jani Kärkkäinen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pirkka Määttänen having to interfere. Fc Baljars's Pirkka Määttänen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleksi Etula in the 40th minute of play. Pirkka Määttänen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jani Kärkkäinen in the 44th minute. If Aleksi Etula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 49 minutes, Jani Kärkkäinen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ristonmäki IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jani Kärkkäinen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Pirkka Määttänen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aleksi Etula in the 59th minute of the match. Jani Kärkkäinen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pirkka Määttänen having to make a save. Aleksi Etula fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pirkka Määttänen having to interfere. Pirkka Määttänen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jani Kärkkäinen, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 74th minute, Antti Sulku hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Fc Baljars's Simo Ukkonen got a free kick in the 75th minute. Aleksi Etula's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pirkka Määttänen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. If Aleksi Etula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pirkka Määttänen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jani Kärkkäinen's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aleksi Etula in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pirkka Määttänen saved Fc Baljars from getting behind. Pirkka Määttänen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aleksi Etula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
