Aleksi Etula started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Ristonmäki IFK getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Oskari Niskala hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the match, Ristonmäki IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Teemu Kukkonen came free, but Samuel Blomberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Veeti Hevonkorpi's late challenge caught a Kimi™'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Veeti Hevonkorpi helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ristonmäki IFK's Veeti Hevonkorpi got a free kick in the 20th minute. After having played for 21 minutes, Teemu Kukkonen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kimi™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Teemu Kukkonen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Oskari Niskala fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ristonmäki IFK's protests and gave Oskari Niskala a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 played minutes Ristonmäki IFK got a freekick which was hit by Oskari Niskala. In the 24th minute, Jani Kärkkäinen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Kimi™'s Jaakko Koivuporras got a free kick in the 26th minute. The supporters of Ristonmäki IFK booed when Kimi™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaakko Koivuporras didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Teemu Kukkonen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Samuel Blomberg, 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teemu Kukkonen was the one to do the kick off. Samuel Blomberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teemu Kukkonen in the 59th minute of the match. Kimi™'s Valto Valkealahti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Kimi™ from getting a goal against them. Sami Okkonen hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Teemu Kukkonen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Blomberg having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Veeti Hevonkorpi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Valto Valkealahti, 1-1. After having played for 85 minutes, Teemu Kukkonen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kimi™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Teemu Kukkonen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 87th minute Teemu Kukkonen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Blomberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Veeti Hevonkorpi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
