Eemil Nitti's late challenge caught a Sulkulahti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eemil Nitti helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sulkulahti booed when KMON PELURIT FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sami Äijälä might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arttu Huuhtanen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sami Äijälä ran back to his position shaking his head. If Einari Paajanen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

One of Sulkulahti:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of KMON PELURIT FC:s goal. The referee gave KMON PELURIT FC a penalty, 55 minutes into the game. Valdemar Litja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrik Poikolainen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Sulkulahti's Toni Varis got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Chants of KMON PELURIT FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Sulkulahti had held the ball for most of the match.
