Spectators: 6785 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1785, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Henrik Poikolainen kicked off to start the match. If Robert Luusua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to KMON PELURIT FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Esko Litmanen hit a great ball. Arttu Huuhtanen was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Sami Paavola. Nedsjö's Kerkko Numminen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrik Poikolainen in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the game, one of Nedsjö:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave KMON PELURIT FC a penalty, 13 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Erkki Niemi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Nedsjö's Kerkko Numminen. 0-1. Kerkko Numminen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urho Vapaniemi in the 19th minute of the match. Kerkko Numminen came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by KMON PELURIT FC's Henrik Poikolainen. But to his dismay, Henrik Poikolainen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Henrik Poikolainen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Urho Vapaniemi scored 0-3 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kerkko Numminen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kari Siren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Nedsjö's Kari Siren slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arttu Huuhtanen. That made the score 1-3 after 38 minutes of play. After 42 played minutes Kari Siren rounded KMON PELURIT FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-3. Nedsjö's Kari Siren got a good chance for a goal in the 50th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Kari Siren made the kick off in the second half. Nedsjö were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after KMON PELURIT FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sami Paavola took the corner. Kari Siren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arttu Huuhtanen having to interfere. Arttu Huuhtanen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kari Siren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Robert Luusua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Urho Vapaniemi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nedsjö's Kerkko Numminen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Nedsjö from getting a goal against them. After 84 minutes Nedsjö's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Erkki Niemi who took care of the corner kick. In the 89thth minute of the game Kari Siren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KMON PELURIT FC's Arttu Huuhtanen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 92 played minutes Nedsjö got a freekick which was hit by Risto Karhu. If Urho Vapaniemi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nedsjö's Kerkko Numminen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrik Poikolainen in the 95th minute of play. When Urho Vapaniemi came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the KMON PELURIT FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urho Vapaniemi couldn't finish the play. Kerkko Numminen made a fantastic save in the 99th minute, when Urho Vapaniemi sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. KMON PELURIT FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
