The supporters of KMON PELURIT FC booed when Manchester City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eerik Luhtimaa didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Paavali Kaivola fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manchester City's protests and gave Paavali Kaivola a yellow card for diving instead. After 26 played minutes Manchester City got a freekick which was hit by Paavali Kaivola. 27 minutes into the match, KMON PELURIT FC's Erkki Niemi broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Samuli Etula sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samuli Etula recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd match minute, KMON PELURIT FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eemil Nitti to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute, Samuli Etula got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henrik Poikolainen was the one to do the kick off. Henrik Poikolainen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Veijo Hagelberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes in the game, Henrik Poikolainen dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. KMON PELURIT FC's Henrik Poikolainen got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Manchester City getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Eerik Luhtimaa hit a great ball. 64 minutes into the match, Henrik Poikolainen notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Manchester City's Veijo Hagelberg. Veijo Hagelberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 68th minute, Eemil Nitti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 72 played minutes KMON PELURIT FC got a freekick which was hit by Urho Vapaniemi. In the 74th minute, Urho Vapaniemi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paavali Kaivola kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, KMON PELURIT FC's Erkki Niemi broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. With his leg Arttu Huuhtanen managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Manchester City's Leo Urholin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Urho Vapaniemi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Veijo Hagelberg having to interfere. Arttu Huuhtanen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuli Etula in the 92nd minute of the match. If Henrik Poikolainen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
