Nedsjö's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaakob Kuhta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40th minute Kari Siren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Veijo Hagelberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Sami Paavola hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Nedsjö's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
