Spectators: 6774 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kari Siren took the kick off in the first half of the match. 12 minutes into the game, Nedsjö's Robert Luusua nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jorma Kotilahti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Kari Siren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorma Kotilahti having to interfere. After 16 minutes, Jaakko Kahra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pitkäkangas and the Nedsjö players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th minute, Jaakko Kahra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eetu Savijoki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th minute, Aappo Ojala left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pitkäkangas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Eetu Savijoki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Kerkko Numminen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorma Kotilahti made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Robert Luusua sent off a good shot on target. Jaakko Kahra got his second yellow card in the match during the 40th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Kari Siren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jorma Kotilahti having to make a save. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Jaakob Kuhta charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaakob Kuhta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Nedsjö's Jaakob Kuhta got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After 52 played minutes, Pitkäkangas's Uuno Alin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kerkko Numminen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pitkäkangas reached it. Pitkäkangas's Jorma Kotilahti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kari Siren in the 54th minute of play. Aappo Ojala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Juhani Nummelin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Robert Luusua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 64 played minutes Nedsjö got a freekick which was hit by Risto Karhu. Aappo Ojala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Kerkko Numminen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nedsjö's Kerkko Numminen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Nedsjö from getting a goal against them. When Risto Karhu fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nedsjö's protests and gave Risto Karhu a yellow card for diving instead. If Aappo Ojala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nedsjö's Robert Luusua got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pitkäkangas's Jorma Kotilahti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Luusua in the 80th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Aappo Ojala had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kerkko Numminen. Nedsjö's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aappo Ojala was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Aappo Ojala could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Kerkko Numminen made a huge save. If Kari Siren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Nedsjö supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Pitkäkangas's performance. The match ended with a win for Pitkäkangas.
