The referee ignored FC LeHo's protests and gave Lasse Puutio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th match minute, FC LeHo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lasse Puutio to maneuver through the defense. Ilpo Henriksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute Eetu Savijoki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isko Jussila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aappo Ojala recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ilpo Henriksson struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Jorma Kotilahti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC LeHo. When Marko Kaukomaa came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the FC LeHo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marko Kaukomaa couldn't finish the play. After 30 played minutes FC LeHo got a freekick which was hit by Ilpo Henriksson. Jaakko Kahra scored 0-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isko Jussila, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lasse Puutio kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. The corner ended in Uuno Alin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC LeHo's Isko Jussila did a great save.

Jorma Kotilahti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorma Kotilahti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ilpo Henriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Aappo Ojala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ilpo Henriksson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jorma Kotilahti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Toivo Äijälä was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC LeHo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pitkäkangas the free kick. In the 73rd minute, one of FC LeHo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC LeHo. Jorma Kotilahti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marko Kaukomaa's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. 82 minutes into the match, FC LeHo's goal looked a bit too open when Eetu Savijoki came free, but Isko Jussila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Niklas Huokko hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute, Marko Kaukomaa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ilpo Henriksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Jorma Kotilahti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marko Kaukomaa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorma Kotilahti having to interfere.
