Sylvesteri Hotakainen took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Esko Varis. Esko Varis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 18th minute Sylvesteri Hotakainen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esko Varis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. JK JOGA's Hannu Kaikkonen pulled a muscle in his back after 18 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Joel Halminen charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joel Halminen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hannes Metsäranta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Esko Varis having to make a save. Hannes Metsäranta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hannes Metsäranta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Ali Hakanen managed to get in a good position for a shot. JK JOGA's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Hakanen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esko Varis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hannes Metsäranta struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Esko Varis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JK JOGA. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hannes Metsäranta in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esko Varis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When Ali Hakanen came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the JK JOGA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ali Hakanen couldn't finish the play. Hannes Metsäranta in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Esko Varis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Hannes Metsäranta might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Esko Varis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hannes Metsäranta ran back to his position shaking his head. Albert Wallden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esko Varis having to interfere. If Hannes Metsäranta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute, one of Ankkurit IFK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ankkurit IFK. In the 68th minute, Ali Hakanen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Hannes Metsäranta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Ankkurit IFK defense, Hannes Metsäranta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Esko Varis. The Ankkurit IFK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Esko Varis should have stopped the shot. Hannes Metsäranta who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Esko Varis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ali Hakanen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd match minute, Ankkurit IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oskari Loukonen to maneuver through the defense. Albert Wallden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 87 played minutes Ankkurit IFK got a freekick which was hit by Oskari Loukonen. Hannes Metsäranta was extremely unlucky when he, in the 88th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Esko Varis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hannes Metsäranta in the 90th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Hannes Metsäranta managed to get in a good position for a shot. JK JOGA's supporters rose to their feet, but Hannes Metsäranta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esko Varis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. JK JOGA's Hannes Metsäranta got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Ankkurit IFK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. JK JOGA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
