Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Santeri Ukkonen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikko Haapamäki in the 6th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Myllykoski FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mikko Haapamäki came free, but Santeri Ukkonen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niklas Puro in the 10th minute of play forced Myllykoski FC's goalkeeper Santeri Ukkonen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santeri Ukkonen came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Ankkurit IFK's Oskari Loukonen. But to his dismay, Oskari Loukonen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Jaakko Suutarinen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esko Varis having to interfere. In the 20th minute Juhana Hilden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esko Varis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jaakko Suutarinen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Myllykoski FC's Jaakko Suutarinen got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Myllykoski FC booed when Ankkurit IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kustavi Vestman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st match minute, Ankkurit IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jari Rautee to maneuver through the defense. Olavi Kimmonen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Esko Varis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Myllykoski FC's goal looked a bit too open when Niklas Puro came free, but Santeri Ukkonen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Myllykoski FC's Aaro Ojansuu got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juhana Hilden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Ankkurit IFK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olavi Kimmonen to make the kick off. Myllykoski FC's Santeri Ukkonen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Myllykoski FC from getting a goal against them. 62 minutes into the match, Ankkurit IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Olavi Kimmonen came free, but Esko Varis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Jaakko Suutarinen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Myllykoski FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaakko Suutarinen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esko Varis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Ankkurit IFK's zone, Jaakko Suutarinen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esko Varis came out of the goal and Jaakko Suutarinen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oskari Loukonen got free with Santeri Ukkonen in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olavi Kimmonen in the 79th minute of play forced Ankkurit IFK's goalkeeper Esko Varis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 80 played minutes Myllykoski FC got a freekick which was hit by Arttu Pasanen. Juhana Hilden might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Esko Varis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juhana Hilden ran back to his position shaking his head. Aaro Ojansuu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Esko Varis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Vesa Multaharju fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ankkurit IFK's protests and gave Vesa Multaharju a yellow card for diving instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aaro Ojansuu during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ankkurit IFK booed when Myllykoski FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaro Ojansuu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Ankkurit IFK's Niklas Puro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Santeri Ukkonen. That made the score 0-2 after 98 minutes of play. The Ankkurit IFK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ankkurit IFK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
