The audience was convinced that Jaakob Karvonen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Unto Reinikka was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Elmer Tarvajärvi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jaakob Karvonen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Unto Reinikka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Jaakob Karvonen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 23 minutes into the game, Alvi Viitanen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KVP's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aint No Chaperons the free kick. Alvi Viitanen kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Aint No Chaperons's Iiro Sainomaa shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 24th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Elmer Glad but with some difficulty. In the 28th minute Jaakob Karvonen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Unto Reinikka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Aint No Chaperons's goal looked a bit too open when Elmer Tarvajärvi came free, but Unto Reinikka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aukusti Tukio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edvard Lahtela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aint No Chaperons's Edvard Lahtela got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aukusti Tukio struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Elmer Glad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aint No Chaperons. KVP's Elmer Glad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save KVP from getting a goal against them. Elmer Glad made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Edvard Lahtela sent off a good shot on target. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jaakob Karvonen to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aukusti Tukio in the 54th minute of play forced KVP's goalkeeper Elmer Glad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jaakob Karvonen struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Unto Reinikka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KVP. When Jaakob Karvonen came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the KVP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaakob Karvonen couldn't finish the play. Unto Reinikka stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jaakob Karvonen's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. With a little luck, Aint No Chaperons's Unto Reinikka got control of the ball when Elmer Tarvajärvi tried to sneak it across the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Aint No Chaperons's goal looked a bit too open when Jaakob Karvonen came free, but Unto Reinikka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 75 played minutes Aint No Chaperons got a freekick which was hit by Usko Ruhanen. If Elmer Tarvajärvi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alvi Viitanen struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Unto Reinikka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
