Vilppu Litmanen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ali Teräs in the 9th minute. Sampsa Lepistö made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonni Heinola in the 14th minute of play. Jonni Heinola's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sampsa Lepistö read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Esa Alanko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lama FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ANX HELSINKI the free kick. Ali Teräs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vilppu Litmanen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Heino Anttila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sampsa Lepistö having to interfere. After 31 played minutes, Lama FC's Ensio Suominen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sampsa Lepistö came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lama FC reached it. In the 32ndth minute of the game Heino Anttila who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ANX HELSINKI's Sampsa Lepistö was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Turo Pietilä lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Vilppu Litmanen. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 59th minute, Turo Pietilä got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Turo Pietilä received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Vilppu Litmanen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valto Toivonen's late challenge caught a ANX HELSINKI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valto Toivonen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Lama FC's goalkeeper Vilppu Litmanen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Ali Teräs came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the ANX HELSINKI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ali Teräs couldn't finish the play. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind ANX HELSINKI's goalkeeper Sampsa Lepistö, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rauno Viuhkola's late challenge caught a Lama FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rauno Viuhkola helped the player get up and apologised. After 79 played minutes Lama FC got a freekick which was hit by Aarno Hentunen. After a defensive mix-up in Lama FC's zone, Ali Teräs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vilppu Litmanen came out of the goal and Ali Teräs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of ANX HELSINKI booed when Lama FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Markku Hernesniemi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lama FC's Heino Anttila got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonni Heinola struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Sampsa Lepistö didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lama FC. Heino Anttila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
