When Eelis Rovio fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sumarinkylä FC's protests and gave Eelis Rovio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th minute there was a penalty for Sippola IFK. Jesse Eronen stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Kalervo Snellman. 0-1. Jani Pikkarainen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kalervo Snellman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jani Pikkarainen's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Valto Koivisto kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Jani Pikkarainen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kalervo Snellman was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. 32 minutes into the match, Sippola IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Torkkeli came free, but Eelis Siltanen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aaron Torkkeli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jani Pikkarainen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Kalervo Snellman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute Aaron Torkkeli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eelis Siltanen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eelis Siltanen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Torkkeli in the 48th minute of the match. The Sumarinkylä FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sippola IFK were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aaron Torkkeli to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 56 minutes, Aaron Torkkeli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sumarinkylä FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aaron Torkkeli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59th minute Eino Paappanen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kalervo Snellman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eelis Siltanen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maunu Ahonen, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Kalervo Snellman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eino Paappanen in the 63rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Sumarinkylä FC's Kalervo Snellman got control of the ball when Jani Pikkarainen tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 65th minute, Akseli Mattila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 67th minute of the game. One of Sumarinkylä FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sippola IFK:s goal. Eino Paappanen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kalervo Snellman having to interfere. Eino Paappanen might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kalervo Snellman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eino Paappanen ran back to his position shaking his head. Eino Paappanen struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Kalervo Snellman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sippola IFK. The supporters of Sumarinkylä FC booed when Sippola IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manne Hurme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maunu Ahonen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 95 played minutes Sumarinkylä FC got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Torkkeli. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sippola IFK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
