The crowd rose to their feet as Martti Sorsa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kullervo Kuusinen. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. Eino Paappanen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Kullervo Kuusinen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eino Paappanen struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Kullervo Kuusinen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sippola IFK. If Jori Kangasniemi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th match minute, Keravan Kollit FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juho Rontti to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Jani Pikkarainen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kullervo Kuusinen. That made the score 2-0 in the 33 minute of play. Eino Paappanen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jani Pikkarainen got free with Kullervo Kuusinen in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Keravan Kollit FC's zone, Eino Paappanen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kullervo Kuusinen came out of the goal and Eino Paappanen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eino Paappanen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jori Kangasniemi kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Keravan Kollit FC's Kullervo Kuusinen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eino Paappanen in the 43rd minute of play. Atro Suoraniemi hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jori Kangasniemi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Martti Sorsa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Eino Paappanen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kullervo Kuusinen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eino Paappanen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, Keravan Kollit FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eino Paappanen came free, but Kullervo Kuusinen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 70 minutes of play, Sippola IFK's Jani Pikkarainen made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kullervo Kuusinen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kullervo Kuusinen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jani Pikkarainen in the 76th minute of the match. In the 87th minute Martti Sorsa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kullervo Kuusinen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kullervo Kuusinen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jani Pikkarainen, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eino Paappanen in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kullervo Kuusinen saved Keravan Kollit FC from getting behind. When Sippola IFK's Martti Sorsa in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Keravan Kollit FC's goalie prevented a goal. Kullervo Kuusinen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eino Paappanen in the 97th minute of the match. In the 99th minute, Jani Pikkarainen made a precise shot to the right of Kullervo Kuusinen. Keravan Kollit FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sippola IFK fully deserved thier win.
