Spectators: 7570 (Terracing: 5794, Seating: 1776, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Niilo Kopelmo made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niilo Kopelmo in the 7th minute of play forced Kiikanmäki's goalkeeper Tommi Ollonen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Höjdbackens IF's goal looked a bit too open when Tatu Kinnaslampi came free, but Valtteri Tallqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Tatu Kinnaslampi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valtteri Tallqvist was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Tatu Kinnaslampi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valtteri Tallqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. If Tatu Kinnaslampi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 22nd minute Niilo Kopelmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommi Ollonen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Teuvo Norrena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Höjdbackens IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Teuvo Norrena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommi Ollonen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Niilo Kopelmo came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Höjdbackens IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niilo Kopelmo couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niilo Kopelmo in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommi Ollonen saved Kiikanmäki from getting behind. Torsti Harikkala hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute, Niilo Kopelmo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ossi Kaarniemi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute, Kiikanmäki's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Niilo Kopelmo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Tatu Kinnaslampi made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Niilo Kopelmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommi Ollonen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iivari Palenius charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iivari Palenius the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee gave Höjdbackens IF a penalty, 55 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eero Möksy, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Kiikanmäki's Tommi Ollonen. 1-0. In the 57th minute, Joel Alatalo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the match, Kiikanmäki's goal looked a bit too open when Ossi Kaarniemi came free, but Tommi Ollonen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ossi Kaarniemi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Tommi Ollonen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tatu Kinnaslampi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ossi Kaarniemi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommi Ollonen having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Kiikanmäki's Tatu Kinnaslampi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Valtteri Tallqvist. That made the score 1-1 after 86 minutes of play. Eero Möksy took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tommi Ollonen. Kiikanmäki's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Toni Kevari who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 98thth minute tested the skills of Valtteri Tallqvist when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
