Spectators: 7563 (Terracing: 5789, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Niilo Kopelmo made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the game, Ukko Laakso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lindal IFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Höjdbackens IF the free kick. After having played for 9 minutes, Viljo Petriläinen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lindal IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Viljo Petriläinen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ossi Kaarniemi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eero Möksy was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 13th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Kaapro Tuominen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niilo Kopelmo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Viljo Petriläinen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Valtteri Tallqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Klaus Vähäsavo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 24th minute, Karri Viitaluoma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Lindal IFK's zone, Ossi Kaarniemi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kaapro Tuominen came out of the goal and Ossi Kaarniemi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valtteri Tallqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viljo Petriläinen, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. When Lindal IFK's Viljo Petriläinen in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Höjdbackens IF's goalie prevented a goal. In the 33rd minute, Viljo Petriläinen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Viljo Petriläinen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Viljo Petriläinen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valtteri Tallqvist was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Höjdbackens IF's zone, Klaus Vähäsavo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valtteri Tallqvist came out of the goal and Klaus Vähäsavo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Lindal IFK getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Miska Helavuori hit a great ball. In the 48th match minute, Lindal IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ukko Laakso to maneuver through the defense. Höjdbackens IF's Eero Möksy shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 49th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Kaapro Tuominen but with some difficulty. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Viljo Petriläinen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Eero Möksy fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Höjdbackens IF's protests and gave Eero Möksy a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Höjdbackens IF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! The score was 0-1 after a penalty in the 64th minute, where Lindal IFK:s Karri Viitaluoma tricked Höjdbackens IF:s Valtteri Tallqvist with a difficult ball by the left post. Viljo Petriläinen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joel Alatalo charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joel Alatalo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Höjdbackens IF getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Joel Alatalo hit a great ball. Klaus Vähäsavo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Valtteri Tallqvist skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 84 minutes into the match, Lindal IFK's Klaus Vähäsavo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valtteri Tallqvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Niilo Kopelmo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Höjdbackens IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Niilo Kopelmo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kaapro Tuominen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lindal IFK's Kaapro Tuominen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niilo Kopelmo in the 91st minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Ossi Kaarniemi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Kaapro Tuominen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 96 minutes into the match, Lindal IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Ossi Kaarniemi came free, but Kaapro Tuominen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
