The coaching staff of FC Ribale protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rauli Laatikainen had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 10 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Ribale! The referee gave Kiikanmäki a penalty, 12 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eino Vainionpää, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Ribale's Juha-Pekka Multaharju. 0-1. A collision led to Kiikanmäki getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Silvo Kopola hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute, Toni Kevari made a precise shot to the right of Juha-Pekka Multaharju. FC Ribale's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Aatos Masalin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommi Ollonen having to interfere. Aarne Villanen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Tommi Ollonen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The wind increased when Aarne Villanen made the kick off in the second half. Aaro Jokiranta charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aarne Villanen in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommi Ollonen saved Kiikanmäki from getting behind. The FC Ribale fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when FC Ribale's Aarne Villanen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Ribale had played much better football throughout.
