He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hassis FC reached it. Ylermi Sjögren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herkko Virta having to interfere. If Aarno Airisto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute, Severi Lähitie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ohto Kiviharju's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Herkko Virta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, FC Turku's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Hujanen came free, but Herkko Virta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FC Turku's zone, Albert Hujanen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herkko Virta came out of the goal and Albert Hujanen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Herkko Virta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ohto Kiviharju, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. A collision led to FC Turku getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Aarno Airisto hit a great ball. If Ohto Kiviharju had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ohto Kiviharju in the 67th minute of play forced FC Turku's goalkeeper Herkko Virta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Severi Lähitie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Ohto Kiviharju managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hassis FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ohto Kiviharju was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herkko Virta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Hassis FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
