Valentin Viander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommi Alanen in the 10th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Taavi Rämö's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valentin Viander was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Uljas Hannus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valentin Viander having to make a save. Valentin Viander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valio Koivuranta in the 17th minute of the match. After 19 minutes of play, Amurin Tiikerit FC's Jukka-Pekka Airisto made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Riku Ilola was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, FC FINLAND's Riku Ilola got control of the ball when Antti Virta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tommi Alanen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the match, Amurin Tiikerit FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tommi Alanen came free, but Valentin Viander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd match minute, FC FINLAND was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Untamo Lehtinen to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute, Taavi Rämö ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valentin Viander was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Taavi Rämö sped through Amurin Tiikerit FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Valentin Viander. Tommi Alanen took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valentin Viander. Valentin Viander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

The wind increased when Ale Piekkanen made the kick off in the second half. If Ilmo Masalin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 55th match minute, Amurin Tiikerit FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tapani Kärki to maneuver through the defense. Taavi Rämö was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 56th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 59th play minutes Taavi Rämö shot 2-4, a short shot which went by Valentin Viander and just under the crossbar into goal. After a defensive mix-up in Amurin Tiikerit FC's zone, Taavi Rämö stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valentin Viander came out of the goal and Taavi Rämö tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Amurin Tiikerit FC's Eetu Paananen got a free kick in the 64th minute. 66 minutes into the game, FC FINLAND's Taavi Rämö nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valentin Viander made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. Valio Koivuranta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Viander having to interfere. Ilmo Masalin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Viander having to interfere. Valio Koivuranta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tommi Alanen might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valentin Viander. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tommi Alanen ran back to his position shaking his head. Amurin Tiikerit FC's Valentin Viander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Amurin Tiikerit FC from getting a goal against them. Valio Koivuranta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valentin Viander having to make a save. FC FINLAND's Taavi Rämö got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valio Koivuranta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tommi Alanen struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Valentin Viander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC FINLAND.
