Valentin Viander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valio Tuomisaari in the 48th minute. 48 minutes into the match, Amurin Tiikerit FC's goal looked a bit too open when Herman Haarala came free, but Valentin Viander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Herman Haarala was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th minute Valio Tuomisaari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Viander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 1-2 became the score in the 60th minute when Valio Tuomisaari elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Saul Hanninen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jukka-Pekka Airisto in the 64th minute. Reima Myllys's late challenge caught a Amurin Tiikerit FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reima Myllys helped the player get up and apologised. Jukka-Pekka Airisto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Saul Hanninen made a huge save. Ale Piekkanen struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Saul Hanninen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amurin Tiikerit FC. Valentin Viander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herman Haarala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valentin Viander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valio Tuomisaari in the 80th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Käyrälä's zone, Ale Piekkanen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saul Hanninen came out of the goal and Ale Piekkanen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valio Tuomisaari recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 87 minutes, Kalle Kärnä mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Amurin Tiikerit FC and the Käyrälä players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 87th match minute, Amurin Tiikerit FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kalle Kärnä to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the match, Jukka-Pekka Airisto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Saul Hanninen, 1-3. Jukka-Pekka Airisto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Saul Hanninen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
