Spectators: 7660 (Terracing: 5855, Seating: 1795, VIP seats: 10) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Severi Lähitie started the match with the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 4th minute by Jukka-Pekka Airisto got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 8 minutes into the game, Kari Kaipainen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Turku's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Amurin Tiikerit FC the free kick. In the 8th minute, Kari Kaipainen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Herkko Virta stood somewhat misplaced when Jukka-Pekka Airisto came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 12 minute. In the 17th minute Ale Piekkanen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herkko Virta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Visa Harikkala hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute, Eetu Paananen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ale Piekkanen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Herkko Virta having to make a save. In the 35th minute, Jukka-Pekka Airisto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 39th match minute, Amurin Tiikerit FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tapani Kärki to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the match, Amurin Tiikerit FC's goal looked a bit too open when Severi Lähitie came free, but Valentin Viander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severi Lähitie in the 47th minute of play forced Amurin Tiikerit FC's goalkeeper Valentin Viander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

FC Turku's Severi Lähitie got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, Amurin Tiikerit FC's goalkeeper Valentin Viander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aarno Airisto. When Antti Virta fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Amurin Tiikerit FC's protests and gave Antti Virta a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Amurin Tiikerit FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Antti Virta hit a great ball. Antti Virta was shown his second yellow card after 61 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The FC Turku fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 76 minutes of play, Amurin Tiikerit FC's Jukka-Pekka Airisto made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Herkko Virta was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in FC Turku's zone, Jukka-Pekka Airisto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herkko Virta came out of the goal and Jukka-Pekka Airisto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jukka-Pekka Airisto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Herkko Virta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kalle Kärnä had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the match, Jukka-Pekka Airisto notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of FC Turku's Herkko Virta. Herkko Virta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that Amurin Tiikerit FC were the better team. Amurin Tiikerit FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
