In the 15th minute Jussi Vuorio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sulevi Viander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Kohmujärvi IFK's zone, Jussi Vuorio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sulevi Viander came out of the goal and Jussi Vuorio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sulevi Viander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Takavirta in the 24th minute of the match. Jussi Vuorio took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sulevi Viander. Sulevi Viander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Leo Takavirta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sulevi Viander read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. In the 35th minute Jussi Vuorio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sulevi Viander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Leo Takavirta came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Östrabyugo IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leo Takavirta couldn't finish the play. Jussi Vuorio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sulevi Viander read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. After 41 played minutes, Östrabyugo IFK's Ari Villanen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sulevi Viander came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Östrabyugo IFK reached it. A collision led to Kohmujärvi IFK getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Yrjänä Känsäkangas hit a great ball. In the 46th minute of the match Antero Ollonen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sulevi Viander skillfully saved the ball. Leo Takavirta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Sulevi Viander was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jussi Vuorio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 56 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Haapaniemi in the 65th minute of play forced Östrabyugo IFK's goalkeeper Pellervo Heinikallio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sulevi Viander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jussi Vuorio in the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th match minute, Kohmujärvi IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yrjänä Söderström to maneuver through the defense. Kohmujärvi IFK's Paul Haapaniemi got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 71 minutes into the game, Voitto Toivanen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Östrabyugo IFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kohmujärvi IFK the free kick. Voitto Toivanen hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. When Jussi Vuorio came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Östrabyugo IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jussi Vuorio couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Östrabyugo IFK's Uuno Lindfors got a free kick in the 86th minute. Miko Kangasalusta took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pellervo Heinikallio. Östrabyugo IFK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 89th minute, Aatu Pihlanen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sulevi Viander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jussi Vuorio's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jussi Vuorio in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sulevi Viander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After taking down the ball on Östrabyugo IFK's corner Antero Ollonen fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sulevi Viander quite easily take care of the ball. The Kohmujärvi IFK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Östrabyugo IFK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
