Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aarne Louke started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aatu Pihlanen got free with Joonatan Määttä in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pellervo Heinikallio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petri Vallin, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 9 minutes into the game, one of Lamperi:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Joonatan Määttä went to the wrong direction when Antero Ollonen was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Joonatan Määttä made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timo Korkeakoski in the 16th minute of play. Jussi Vuorio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Joonatan Määttä tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th match minute, Lamperi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Lotvonen to maneuver through the defense. Joonatan Määttä stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jussi Vuorio's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. After a rather tough play, Lamperi's Turkka Paatelainen got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Voitto Toivanen hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Jussi Vuorio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joonatan Määttä read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Joonatan Määttä tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Östrabyugo IFK's Jussi Vuorio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joonatan Määttä narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ari Villanen hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Petri Vallin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pellervo Heinikallio having to interfere. Jussi Vuorio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joonatan Määttä read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Joonatan Määttä took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jussi Vuorio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Joonatan Määttä managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Östrabyugo IFK's Voitto Toivanen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Elmer Rimpiläinen fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lamperi's protests and gave Elmer Rimpiläinen a yellow card for diving instead. After 44 played minutes Lamperi got a freekick which was hit by Elmer Rimpiläinen. Joonatan Määttä made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jussi Vuorio in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th match minute, Lamperi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Turkka Paatelainen to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jussi Vuorio made a kick off. Voitto Toivanen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joonatan Määttä having to interfere. Jussi Vuorio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joonatan Määttä stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aatu Pihlanen's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Elmer Rimpiläinen was shown his second yellow card after 59 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Östrabyugo IFK booed when Lamperi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elmer Rimpiläinen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Lamperi's goal looked a bit too open when Aatu Pihlanen came free, but Joonatan Määttä reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Lamperi's zone, Jussi Vuorio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joonatan Määttä came out of the goal and Jussi Vuorio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Jussi Vuorio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jussi Vuorio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Joonatan Määttä tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Aatu Pihlanen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joonatan Määttä. Lamperi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aatu Pihlanen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 73 minutes into the match, Lamperi's goal looked a bit too open when Jussi Vuorio came free, but Joonatan Määttä reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lamperi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Östrabyugo IFK the free kick. After a rather tough play, Lamperi's Aarne Louke got a free kick in the 90th minute. Lamperi's Joonatan Määttä played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jussi Vuorio in the 92nd minute of play. Jussi Vuorio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Joonatan Määttä tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Östrabyugo IFK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
