The audience thought a goal was coming when Aimo Hassinen got free with Joonatan Määttä in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 23 played minutes Lamperi got a freekick which was hit by Artturi Norrena. When Aimo Hassinen came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the JRiikolan Tiimi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aimo Hassinen couldn't finish the play. Lamperi's Joonatan Määttä proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Lamperi from getting a goal against them. Joonatan Määttä was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Elmer Rimpiläinen's late challenge caught a JRiikolan Tiimi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. A collision led to Lamperi getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Elmer Rimpiläinen hit a great ball. JRiikolan Tiimi walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
