Aarne Louke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesse Lehtimäki having to interfere. Tuira Kings's Jesse Lehtimäki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Tuira Kings from getting a goal against them. After 18 minutes, Petri Vallin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lamperi and the Tuira Kings players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Lamperi getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Petri Vallin hit a great ball. Valentin Kokkonen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 26 minutes, Elmer Rimpiläinen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lamperi and the Tuira Kings players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lamperi's Joonatan Määttä played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Kokkonen in the 27th minute of play. The supporters of Tuira Kings booed when Lamperi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elmer Rimpiläinen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tuira Kings's Jesse Lehtimäki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Tuira Kings from getting a goal against them. When Launo Haapaporras came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Tuira Kings fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Launo Haapaporras couldn't finish the play. Launo Haapaporras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Joonatan Määttä tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jarkko Mikkola charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jarkko Mikkola the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Tuira Kings's Jarkko Mikkola got a free kick in the 48th minute. Jesse Lehtimäki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aarne Louke in the 49th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Launo Haapaporras was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Valentin Kokkonen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tuira Kings's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentin Kokkonen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joonatan Määttä breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 56th match minute, Tuira Kings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lari Kankaanpää to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Lamperi's zone, Launo Haapaporras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joonatan Määttä came out of the goal and Launo Haapaporras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Petri Vallin came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Lamperi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petri Vallin couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Lamperi's Joonatan Määttä got control of the ball when Valentin Kokkonen tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Valentin Kokkonen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tuira Kings's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentin Kokkonen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joonatan Määttä breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Tuira Kings's Jarkko Mikkola slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joonatan Määttä. That made the score 0-1 after 90 minutes of play.
