Miika Ojanen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kaarlo Saastamoinen showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 19 minute of play. If Onni Tuomisaari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jyrki Metsäranta hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Valio Myllykoski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Miika Ojanen made a huge save. Jonne Somervuori's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Heino Pitkämäki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Pentti Halonen was shown his second yellow card after 39 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to FC Lasinilkat getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Pentti Halonen hit a great ball. Valio Myllykoski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Miika Ojanen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Ristilä FC's Valio Myllykoski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miika Ojanen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valio Myllykoski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Valio Myllykoski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Kaarlo Saastamoinen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 59 minutes into the match, FC Lasinilkat's goal looked a bit too open when Kaarlo Saastamoinen came free, but Miika Ojanen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miika Ojanen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valio Myllykoski, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Aappo Luhtio's late challenge caught a Ristilä FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aappo Luhtio helped the player get up and apologised. Miika Ojanen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elmer Kamppuri in the 68th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valio Myllykoski in the 70th minute of play forced FC Lasinilkat's goalkeeper Miika Ojanen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jyrki Metsäranta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Valio Myllykoski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valio Myllykoski took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miika Ojanen. Miika Ojanen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. If Kuisma Ruuttu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the match, FC Lasinilkat's goal looked a bit too open when Valio Myllykoski came free, but Miika Ojanen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valio Myllykoski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in FC Lasinilkat's zone, Kaarlo Saastamoinen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miika Ojanen came out of the goal and Kaarlo Saastamoinen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valio Myllykoski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Miika Ojanen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonne Somervuori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heino Pitkämäki having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ristilä FC fully deserved thier win.
