Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Asko Seikola took the kick off in the first half of the match. Asko Seikola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tarmo Santahuhta having to interfere. Eelis Enola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Timo Ahonen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Eelis Enola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Eelis Enola came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the FC Hooligans fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eelis Enola couldn't finish the play. 23 minutes into the match, Hepola IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Ismo Ryynänen came free, but Timo Ahonen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 26th minute, but Timo Ahonen got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Hepola IFK hanging dry this time. In the 28th minute, Eelis Enola ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Timo Ahonen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Tarmo Santahuhta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saku Sairanen in the 31st minute of the match. Eelis Enola blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Timo Ahonen having to make a save. The supporters of Hepola IFK booed when FC Hooligans was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Hiukka didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Saku Sairanen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hepola IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Saku Sairanen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tarmo Santahuhta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Ismo Ryynänen made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, FC Hooligans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Päiviö Kokkila to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Saku Sairanen could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Tarmo Santahuhta however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eelis Enola in the 58th minute of play forced Hepola IFK's goalkeeper Timo Ahonen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Artturi Pyörälä received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Timo Ahonen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kari Hänninen hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Keijo Ojansuu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 72nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Ismo Ryynänen sped through Hepola IFK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Timo Ahonen. Ismo Ryynänen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Keimo Kärki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eelis Enola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eelis Enola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Hooligans's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
