Aarni Pasoja was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 11th minute, Iikka Laitila ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aarni Pasoja was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 14 minutes into the match, Peltovuoma's goal looked a bit too open when Iikka Laitila came free, but Aarni Pasoja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 15 played minutes Peltovuoma got a freekick which was hit by Lasse Veikkanen. Iikka Laitila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Iikka Laitila got free in front of the goal in the 22nd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Aarni Pasoja was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Aarni Pasoja didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hannu Kukkamäki went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olavi Hagman during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 26 played minutes FC Nator got a freekick which was hit by Olavi Hagman. Hannu Kukkamäki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aarni Pasoja read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Aarni Pasoja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hannu Kukkamäki, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Aarni Pasoja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the game, Hannu Kukkamäki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Aarni Pasoja was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Peltovuoma's Aarni Pasoja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iikka Laitila in the 43rd minute of play. The FC Nator fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when FC Nator's Hannu Kukkamäki looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hannu Kukkamäki to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Iikka Laitila had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aarni Pasoja. Peltovuoma's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iikka Laitila was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. In the 60th minute, FC Nator's Hannu Kukkamäki dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Hannu Kukkamäki managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Nator's supporters rose to their feet, but Hannu Kukkamäki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aarni Pasoja breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Peltovuoma's Aarni Pasoja proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Peltovuoma from getting a goal against them. Aarni Pasoja made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olavi Hagman in the 71st minute. After having played for 73 minutes, Severi Helin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peltovuoma's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severi Helin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hannu Kukkamäki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aarni Pasoja having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hannu Kukkamäki in the 91st minute of play forced Peltovuoma's goalkeeper Aarni Pasoja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peltovuoma's Aarni Pasoja proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Peltovuoma from getting a goal against them. Severi Helin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The FC Nator players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
